Apartment Atelje is on the second floor of a residential building with an elevator. Initially owned by the Auer family, the building was built during the golden era of Belgrade in 1937. The interior of the building has a stone staircase and an entrance made of marble.
The interior of this Svetogorska accommodation is eclectic, nicely connecting traditional and modern details. It consists of one large room with a queen size bed, sofa, dining corner with a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower.
In the kitchen, you can find everything you need to prepare a meal. We offer biscuits, fruits, coffee, and tea as welcome. You can use free toiletries in the bathroom, as well as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
During winter months Studio Atelje is quite warm due to central heating. If you want to cool yourself, you can use a split system air conditioner. Relax in front of large screen TV or use Wi-Fi internet of 50mb/s speed. Through the windows, you can enjoy the view of the Saint Marko’s Church domes and the Serbian Parliament building.
Fresh towels and bed linen are provided, and you can expect a change of sheets and a fresh set of towels every seven days.
There is a beautiful green oasis in the building’s yard where you can sit and enjoy your first-morning coffee or have a glass of wine in the evening.
Location
This accommodation on Svetogorska street is just a 10-minute walk from the main pedestrian street Knez Mihailova, and the Republic Square. You’ll also need about 10 minutes to get to Skadarlija, famous Bohemian quarter.
Kalemegdan park and the Belgrade fortress are only 15 minutes away, and you’ll need around 20 minutes to the St. Sava’s Temple.
There is a green market nearby, as well as several pastry shops, supermarkets, cafes, cake shops, and restaurants. The famous theatre, Atelje 212, is also in the neighborhood.
During the New Year’s holidays, Svetogorska street becomes a pedestrian zone with the most popular Belgrade winter carnival called Street of Open Hearts.
